Class TypeMention

A source code location referring to a user-defined type.

Note that only user-defined types have TypeMentions. In particular, built-in types, and derived types with built-in types as their base don’t have any TypeMentions. For example, given

struct S { ... };
void f(S s1, int i1) {
  S s2;
  S* s3;
  S& s4 = s2;
  decltype(s2) s5;

  int i2;
  int* i3;
  int i4[10];
}

there will be a TypeMention for the mention of S at S s1, S s2, and S& s4 = s2, but not at decltype(s2) s5. Additionally, there will be no TypeMentions for int.

fromSource	Holds if this element may be from source. This predicate holds for all elements, except for those in the dummy file, whose name is the empty string. The dummy file contains declarations that are built directly into the compiler.	from Element

isFromUninstantiatedTemplate	Holds if this `Element` is part of a template `template` (not if it is part of an instantiation of `template`). This means it is represented in the database purely as syntax and without guarantees on the presence or correctness of type-based operations such as implicit conversions.	from Element
